DISCOVER THE SECRETS OF THE PALACE OF MONTERREY
The Palace of Monterrey is the only palace in Salamanca that houses a real house that is lived in and used today.
The tour allows us to enter the family’s most intimate environments, visiting rooms that they use daily. In addition to this, we can see an important collection of art and furniture, despite the Palace’s modest size. All of this through a unique experience, a fusion of music, voices, and images. To finish the tour, a wonderful panoramic view of Salamanca from one of its fortified towers where the lavish chimneys and cresting that crown the building can be admired.
TOUR OF THE KITCHENS AND CELLS
This tour offers visitors a different perspective of life for the Palace staff throughout its history.
Domestic service has always played an important role within palaces and castles. Discover their way of life by walking through the corridor of cells and other areas that are still used by Palace staff today. This tour also includes the kitchen, where you’ll discover some of the gastronomic recipes that the different Dukes of Alba have tasted.
Tours of the kitchens and cells are only offered as supplement to the general tour and has an additional charge of €2.50, so you must already have a general ticket in order to enjoy them.

EVENING TOURS OF THE PALACE OF MONTERREY
On this tour, you will experience a completely different side to the Palace at night, which, unlike the day tour, includes a guide who will help you discover the most intimate side of the house.
This tour includes the standard tour as well as a tour of the kitchens and cells which ends in climbing the fortified tower so that you can see the city lit up at night, offering a unique colour thanks to the famous stone from Villamayor.
